FADED PHOTOGRAPHS
Found and faded photographs
From a time that is no more.
Found and faded memories
From so many years before.
Old photographs of someone,
Of loved ones come and gone.
Old photographs of yesterday,
Of those that once belonged.
Fond memories are captured
In photographs from long ago.
Fond memories are cherished
In a lifetime once bestowed.
Someone held a faded memory
As their last journey began.
Someone held a faded photograph
As time faded from their hands.
